Westlake Punnett & Associates Ply Ltd were engaged by Snowy Monaro Regional Council to provide the design documentation for the replacement of a failed pond. The existing evaporation pond was showing signs of failure due to the poor geotechnical control during original construction and the presence of a fault line under the base of the evaporation pond. In collaboration with D&N Geotechnical Engineers, a reinforced soil embankment wall was designed to store 2-4 ML of treated effluent before disposal.
